If you, like us, are television and movie lovers who want to enjoy a flick from your couch but don’t want your living room to scream, “We watch television here!” You’re in the right place. It can be so hard to find and style the right console table for your room, and even more difficult to create the perfect media center that is equal parts cozy and chic. Let’s get into it!

How To Choose The Right Console Table
Choosing the right console table is perhaps the foundation of the entire media center. While some may opt for a built-in (which typically, we love) we’ve found that having the freedom to rearrange our living room outweighs the draw of a built-in media center for us. In the past, we’ve used traditional console tables with no storage beneath for a minimal look, (love this option too), but recently we’ve also grown fond of the idea of using a credenza as a media center if space allows. We bought the Frame TV a few years ago and never looked back–and over a credenza, it looks like a beautiful art piece and thoughtful cabinetry rather than the T.V. and a place to keep all the stuff you don’t want out on shelves. If you’ve got limited storage, this is a great option for you!

Projectors Vs. TV’s
One thing we’ve been loving recently is the shift toward projectors instead of televisions. As previously mentioned, we love our Frame TV so we won’t be swapping it for a projector any time soon, but we recently used ours during our Parlor Floor renovation to watch White Lotus Szn 3 (can you believe that last episode!?!?!?!) and it was actually so lovely. We love how people have been concealing their projector screens with removable wall art and roll-down screens for a look that is very demure.
