Welcome to our latest renovation project, #OnceUponAReno!
This late 1800’s beauty was once home to Laura Jean Libbey, a 19th century author whose romance novels sold millions of copies and earned her a regular spot in the New York Family Story Paper.
Now, it’s time for a new family story, as we renovate this magnificent home for a family with two young boys who have found their own love for design! This project will be a balancing act between historical and modern design, and our plan is to bring in more light to this slightly spooky space through the addition of an atrium (our first ever!), softening of bold woodwork with wood stripping throughout the home, and the addition of a double height space on the ground and first floor.
We are honored to tell a tale of both classic and modern design in this 5 story Park Slope gem, and we can’t wait to take you along on this journey with us!
