Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art

We partnered with the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art and Farrow & Ball to redesign the museum’s lobby and greeting center, transforming the first space visitors encounter into an intentional and welcoming introduction to the world’s only dedicated LGBTQIA+ art institution. We selected a grounded yet expressive palette, wrapping walls and ceilings in the rich blue-green Kakelugn and contrasting trim in Inchyra Blue, to create a calm, considered space that feels warm without being overdesigned and communicates a clear sense of welcome and belonging. Thoughtfully integrated functional elements like a floating shelf for curated books further support both form and purpose, reflecting the museum’s values while enhancing visitor experience.
