After years of renovating other people’s homes, we turned our attention to our own 1890s Brooklyn brownstone, focusing on the parlor floor. We reworked the living room, dining room, and kitchen to improve flow, functionality, and personality, adding a cased opening, custom marble shelving, and built-in banquette seating. Creamy whites and muted olive tones, paired with thoughtful historic details and curated furnishings, create a space that feels bright, lived-in, and completely ours. This renovation was about refining our home to reflect how we actually live.
