Originally built in 1890’s as a pair of carriage houses, this Clinton Hill structure has lived many lives. We converted it into The Brownstone Boys studio; a light-filled workspace that respects its bones while making room for how we actually work. Whitewashed brick, original arched windows, and tin ceilings stay untouched, while a long desk, a dedicated materials library, and a proper coffee station make it function as a real working studio. It’s a space that honors its history while keeping pace with a modern design practice; proof of what a carriage house can become when given a second life.
